DescriptionPosition at JBS USASales Account RepresentativePurpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Sales Account Representative for our Retail Pork Inside Sales team located in our Fort Worth, TX sales office. Job Purpose: Primary responsibilities include managing regional retail, foodservice, and distributor accounts while developing new business with targeted accounts and working together to manage profitability for all parties.Responsibilities:Manage and grow JBS’s retail, foodservice, and distributor pork accountsDevelop new accountsBuild customer relationshipsUse product and market knowledge to generate salesDetermine customer needs and match new product and programs to address account goalsPresent pricing quotes and modify prices, as necessary, to deal with specific customer needsWork closely with field sales teams to acquire new customers, strengthen existing accounts, and advance customers up the value chainIncrease converted/value added sales throughout entire customer baseWork with margin management to maximize sales marginContact accounts daily to discuss the availability and pricing of individual products to boost daily salesUnderstand industry trends/market conditionsCommunicate effectivelyCollaborate with inter-company departments on sales projectsCoordinate with margin management, operations, scheduling, traffic, and load tying to ensure all order information is complete and accurateUtilize reports from the business analysis group to grow sales, increase profitability, and improve efficienciesThorough understanding of entire customer organizational structure and merchandising strategyUnderstand all accounts in department to make the team strongerResponsible for understanding accounts in regard to: Payment Terms, Credit, Claims, Service, etc.Other duties as assigned Qualifications:BS/BA degree preferred with a major in one of the following: Agri Business, Meat Science, Business, Marketing, Ag Econ or Animal ScienceMinimum 3 years or more previous sales experience in retail grocery or comparable fieldExperience in prior meat sales strongly preferredPrior premium pork sales experience highly desiredPrevious account relationships a positiveBilingual- (English/Spanish) not required but a positive. Excellent phone and strong presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail Oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-taskExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced environment as a self-starterExcellent customer service skillsAmbitious and self-motivated with desire to deliver results Strong desire to learn and growWork well in a team environment- Team mentality with a positive attitude is a mustOffice Environment40+ hours per weekMust be willing to travel around 5%.Microsoft Office applications a mustCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
