Position OverviewThe Payroll Associate will be responsible for supporting accurate and timely payroll processing for employees on a semi-monthly basis. This role will manage day-to-day payroll activities, including end-to-end processing, timecard review, reconciliations, and employee support. The ideal candidate has hands-on payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and experience working within a payroll or HRIS system.ResponsibilitiesProcess semi-monthly payroll accurately and within established deadlines.Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including reviewing payroll data, making adjustments, and validating information prior to payroll completion.Review employee timecards and identify and resolve discrepancies before payroll is processed.Perform payroll reconciliations to ensure payroll data and payments are accurate.Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and processing issues in a timely manner.Provide internal payroll support by responding to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, timekeeping, and payroll-related matters.Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.Partner with internal teams as needed to address payroll changes, corrections, and employee information updates.Support additional payroll-related projects and administrative responsibilities as needed.QualificationsHands-on experience processing payroll, preferably in an end-to-end payroll environment.Experience working with payroll or HRIS systems such as ADP, SAP, Ceridian, Workday, or similar platforms.Understanding of payroll processes, timekeeping, payroll deductions, and reconciliations.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.Ability to manage recurring deadlines and handle confidential employee information appropriately.Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide responsive internal employee support.By submitting to this position, you are agreeing to be included in our talent pool for future hiring for similarly qualified positions.EEO NoticeVaco by Highspring is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race (including but not limited to traits historically associated with race such as hair texture and hair style), color, sex (includes pregnancy or related conditions), religion or creed, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, status as a veteran, union membership, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, political affiliation, or any other protected characteristics as required by federal, state or local law.Vaco by Highspring and its parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries are committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
