Position Overview The Network Engineer will support client network environments through installation, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure and security systems. Key Responsibilities Network Support & Administration Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot: Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless access points, Network infrastructure components Support both remote and on-site customer environments Assist with implementation and maintenance of LAN/WAN and TCP/IP network environments Diagnose network issues and implement corrective actions to restore functionality and optimize performance Support VPN, DNS, DHCP, and network monitoring solutions Infrastructure & Security Assist with firewall administration and security best practices Monitor network performance and alerts to proactively identify issues Support information security initiatives and network protection measures Participate in infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and client projects Customer Support & Documentation Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting client technical needs Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users Maintain accurate documentation for customer environments, service work, and completed tasks Collaborate with team members to ensure timely issue resolution and project completion Preferred Technical Experience Experience or exposure in the following areas is highly desirable: Networking & Infrastructure Cisco and/or Juniper switching environments Sophos, SonicWall, and/or Juniper firewalls Wireless networking and Wi-Fi deployments Routing protocols such as: BGP, OSPF Network topology and infrastructure concepts Additional Preferred Skills Network monitoring and alerting tools VOIP systems and solutions Network design concepts Cybersecurity best practices and security awareness Red Shift
