We will sponsor you to obtain the required certifications within 12 months of hire.The annual base pay for Firefighter/Paramedics is $62.987 to $80,371, depending on experience, with the possibility of up to an additional 8% annually in proficiency pay. In addition to base pay, proficiency pay, and overtime opportunities, we offer an extensive benefits package which includes:Health and Dental InsuranceDisability and Life InsuranceAccrual of 6+ weeks of vacation/sick time annually10 paid HolidaysDefined Benefit Pension Plan through NH Retirement SystemTuition ReimbursementOur Fire Department is strongly supported by a vibrant community and responds to over 5000 Fire and EMS calls annually. We operate out of four stations with a daily shift staffing of 15 firefighter/EMTs and firefighter/paramedics. Line personnel work a shift schedule of 24 hours on duty, and 72 hours off. All operations personnel are dual-role cross-trained; staffing an ALS ambulance, a Paramedic Engine, and/or a Truck Company.
